Constructed of silver, the obverse bearing a raised German national eagle overlaid by a central mobile swastika, the reverse bearing a raised inscription of FR RETTUNG AUS GEFAHR (FOR RESCUE FROM DANGER) within a circular oak leaf wreath, the edge maker marked PR. MNZE BERLIN for the Prussian Mint in Berlin, with a silver content number of 835, and a crescent moon indicating German manufacture, measuring 49.
